As the holidays approach us and the year comes to an end, we’d like to take a moment to reflect and give thanks. Thank you to all of our clients and partners who have worked with us this year. You’ve held us to the highest standards, provided us with integral feedback, and have pushed us to be the best team we can be.

This year, on behalf of our broker and MLS partners, HomeSpotter has donated $2,000 to a campaign that 1000watt started to build a home for someone in need through New Story, a charity that funds live-saving homes, transforming slums into sustainable communities, on behalf of us and our clients. 100% of all donations to New Story go directly to building homes for families, with local workers and local materials.

Our donation went to build a home for the Rodriguez-Guzman family. Leovigilda and Julio have 3 children: Lizania (20), Limber (15), and Yajsi (6).  They currently live in a shack built from walls of adobe, with a dirt floor and one bed for the entire family.  New Story will build them a home with running water and electricity, and provide their family a safe home to live in.

1000watt was our inspiration for joining this effort. They previously started a campaign with a $6,000 goal to fully pay for the cost of building a home through New Story.
