Aaron is one of the most humble CEOs I’ve ever met. He doesn’t want a fancy office and a bunch of recognition. He just needs his laptop, fresh ideas, a dedicated team, and a good cup of coffee. And since he’s not the kind of guy to brag, I’ll share the news (and a photo that he reluctantly let me take).

Today, Aaron made the Swanepoel 2017 Emerging Leaders list, which acknowledges leaders who are 40 years or younger in the Real Estate industry. (Think of it as a “20 under 40” list.)

Aaron launched HomeSpotter after looking for a house in 2009 and realizing there were no good mobile apps to help with the process. HomeSpotter started off as a service for real estate brokers to get a home search app that was branded in the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry app stores, which then turned into a complete mobile solution for real estate brokers and MLSs, including real-time search and collaboration. Today, Aaron’s mission for HomeSpotter has simplified: Make buying and selling homes delightful.

In 2016, over 700 thousand agents and home buyers used the HomeSpotter platform to view 76 million properties and share over 1.2 million listings.

It’s no wonder he was called out in this year’s Emerging Leaders list!
